BEE Certification

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency department working under Ministry of Power operating a Standards & Labelling Scheme for electrical/electronic/IT appliances and equipment since May,2006. A key objective of this scheme is to provide the consumer an informed choice about the energy saving and thereby the cost saving potential of the relevant marketed product. The scheme targets display of energy performance labels on high-energy end-use equipment & appliances and lays down minimum energy performance standards.

Currently, the Standards & Labelling scheme is classified into two types:

Mandatory Scheme: This scheme covers products – Frost Free Refrigerator, Tubular Fluorescent Lamps, Room Air Conditioner (Fixed Speed/Variable Speed), Distribution Transformer, RAC (Cassette, Floor Standing Tower, Ceiling, Corner AC), Direct Cool Refrigerator, Electric Geysers, Television, IAC, LED.

Voluntary Scheme: This scheme covers products – Induction Motors, Agricultural Pump Sets, Ceiling Fans, Domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) stoves, Washing Machine, Computer (Notebook/laptops), Ballast (Electronic/Magnetic), Office Equipment’s (Printer, Copier, Scanner, MFD’s), Diesel Engine Driven Monoset Pumps for Agricultural Purposes, Solid State Inverter, Diesel Generator, Chillers, Microwave Ovens.

Just submit the test reports and relevant documents signed by the authorized signatory to us and we assist you to get the Energy Label and end to end application submission process at BEE portal for the particular product. We “PAVONE Technologies” will prepare relevant documents required for the company registration approval and application submission.

We recommend the applicable label to be put on the products and gazette to be conformed to based on the product type and category, and coordinate with laboratories to begin with the desired testing, if applicable. We also assist you in filing of test results on newly developed final phase of BEE portal in case the product is already tested at the client’s in house lab.
